Our Tirp to the Big City

Auckland Live - Lets Sing

As soon as we stepped into the auditorium students were in awe of the buildings architecture, students thought it was like the "Whitehouse".

The day was organised into three sections.

We were first invited into the ASB Theatre, Aotea Centre where we got to see the in's and out's of the theatre, we even got to go on the stage! The sets were amazing!

We then got to meet James Tito from the Modern Māori Quartet. He preformed some of his songs to us and took us through a singing workshop.

Lastly we got to go into the Herald Theatre where students got to preform Nau mai, Haere mai which we had been practicing for weeks. Our performance was made extra special with the help of a professional lighting expert that made us feel like we were at a disco.
